In order to address these issues, representatives of international bodies such as the World Tourism Organization (WTO), the International Labour Organization (ILO), the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank or the European Commission will be gathered, in addition to large companies and experts who have been speakers of a recognised standing at the global level, The European Council also called on the Commission to take action to ensure that the Community’s economic and social cohesion is fully integrated into the economic and social development of the region. The Summit will culminate with the signing of the Barcelona Declaration, an international collaborative document for the adoption of a series of measures that promote, promote and protect post-Covid-19 tourism.
